About Amiee Conn

Born and raised in the beautiful wine country of Sonoma County and daughter of a musician, Amiee Conn (Ah-mee Kahn) has been a part of music and theatre since she was very young. While growing up in Anchorage, Alaska for most of her childhood, she found her passion through the TBA performing arts conservatory of youth as well as an Irish Dance Academy. After moving back to Northern California, Amiee followed her passion for the arts and later appeared on professional stages in lead roles including "Gypsy," "Evita," "Disney's Beauty and the Beast" and "The King & I." Amiee made her television debut as the historical, biographical character "Concepcion Arguello" in The History Channel's mini-series "Conquest of America". She was crowned Miss Sonoma County in 2006 and represented at Miss California for the Miss America state preliminaries where she was honored with the scholarship and talent award for her vocal performance of 'Summertime" from the operetta: Porgy & Bess. In the summer of 2007, while interning at AE Casting, Amiee had the pleasure of auditioning for and working on the feature film "Bottle Shock," starring Chris Pine, Bill Pullman and Alan Rickman while shooting on location in Sonoma. This was a great experience and opportunity for her before moving down to Los Angeles that fall to study and train at the AMDA Conservatory for Musical Theatre & Film. She became co-producer with Dawn M. Green, long time friend and actress/creator of "Lila, Long Distnace" the web series, which went on to win awards at the LA WebFest 2011 and became distributed with Blip.TV and Koldcast.TV online networks! Amiee is currently working on commercials and print/modeling jobs, most recently including Bacardi 150th Anniversary celebration and Target. As a Mezzo-Soprano she also continues to focus on her passion of music and vocal recordings. "I love meeting new people and working on new, exciting projects with creative outlooks - there's SO many amazing artists out here in Los Angeles - who have great stories to tell and who understand the business is also a business. I look forward to meeting extraordinary people in this FilmBreak community who share the same Passion and Drive for their work and who are ready to break out and show the world and the industry who they are and what they can create!" The Time is Now.... ;) <3
